The MiaSolé cell is produced by depositing the CIGS film on a thin stainless steel sheet. The sheet is then cut into cell form, covered with the Ultrawire interconnect, and tested. The result is the most unique cell architecture in the industry.

Not only is it the highest efficiency thin film cell, it is lightweight, flexible, low cost, and the shape can be modified to fit any form factor.

FLEX-02N Flexible Solar Module

The FLEX-02 Series module is a CIGS based flexible thin-film PV module that provides high power density for many types of roof applications. The panels are the highest efficiency, flexible, thin-film product on the market today, with >16% cell efficiency.

FLEX-02N modules are ideal for standing seam metal roofs, and they bond to the roof surface with a simple peel-and-stick adhesive. This adhesive approach eliminates the need for racking and reduces labor and logistics cost to provide a 20% lower BOS cost than traditional glass solar systems. The FLEX-02 Series module is IEC 61646 & IEC 61730 and UL 1703 certified and is available in three lengths.

FLEX-02N modules provide customers the following significant benefits:

  • The low weight of the modules
  • No roof penetrations, eliminating the worry of leakage and damage to valuable contents within the building
  • An aesthetically pleasing solar solution, preserving the original look of the metal roof by blending into the space between the seams.
  • Superior wind resistance and a seismic advantage over traditional rack-and-panel systems where their higher profile increases the likelihood of damage in a hurricane or earthquake

The FLEX-02W Series module is available in two sizes: the FLEX-02W at 2.6 m (102.3 in) x 1.0 m (39.4 in) with power ranging from 340 to 380 watts; and the FLEX-02WS module at 1.7 m (67.8 in) x 1.0 m (39.4 in) and rated from 210 to 250 watts.

The FLEX-02W series provides customers the following significant benefits:
