Sr. Oracle ERP Applications Software Developer

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in developing and supporting Oracle EBS R12.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement, standard and custom solutions in Oracle applications
  • Collaborate with Business, Developers and Functional Analysts to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies
  • Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new applications based on requirements
  • Write programs using various languages and tools including, SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Forms Personalization, XML Publisher Reports

Required skills/competencies:

  • Expert in writing Oracle SQL, PL/SQL programs.
  • Experience developing reports in OBIEE and Oracle ERP.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Financial (Payables, Purchasing), Manufacturing (Inventory, WIP, BOM) modules.
  • Should be able to understand, debug and write programs
  • Technical proficiency with Oracle SOA Suite.
  • Generate solutions which may include systems modifications, enhancements or new procedures.
  • Should be well versed with oracle RICE components. Able to write and debug oracle APIs, interfaces, workflow, alerts, forms, forms personalization, RDF and XML publisher reports

Desktop Support Technician

Position Summary:

This position is for a technical Desktop Support Specialist with some networking knowledge for the support of desktops and laptops at Laufer Group International. They will be functioning as the Technical desktop support specialist that will be involved in the daily support and interacting with the user community as well as other team members within the organization

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tech support for Windows users and related hardware/software
  • Resolve issues in a timely matter.
  • Act as an escalation point when SLA’s are not met
  • Work with 3rd Party vendors
  • Monitor desktops for any hardware and/or software failures and work to resolve those failures
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories.
  • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals, including some mobile devices.
  • Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system and any other duties as assigned by the company.

Sales Operations Analyst
Sales Operations Analyst to support sales forecasting, analysis, reporting, operations and processes. Our Sales Ops Analyst will report to the Director, Sales Operation to support our sales and Marketing team to provide timely and accurate delivery of orders, to help them manage the team’s selling efforts. Our Analyst will also work directly with customers in providing quotes to customer, lead time/delivery commitments, order processing and shipping information.

The successful candidate will have strong operational and analytic experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage through influence, and proven success working in a dynamic growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Management of customer orders, Pricing and margin analysis, Analyze and Load Demand/Forecast into Sales Force
  • Synchronize Backlog against Opportunities in SalesForce to ensure demand accuracy.
  • Schedule and Commit Delivery Dates.
  • Track, analyze, and provide KPI reporting for key sales metrics and performance trends over time (pipeline, forecast, bookings, deal statistics, etc)

Research Scientist / Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • PV cell and module metrology / test methodology development: Design, develop, construct, and implement test methods, instrumentation/equipment with supporting software related to cell and module characterization, flaw detection, functional and electrical performance measurement.
  • Specialized failure analysis: Assess and conduct root cause analysis of new failure modes, recommend and participate in testing solutions related to detection and elimination of defect cause.
  • Failure analysis automation: Develop means for automated recognition of failure modes.
  • Materials properties and cell / module performance: Conduct data analysis and modeling of PV module performance. Work with materials analysis specialists in understanding relationships between materials properties and device performance.
  • China factories support: Interface with R&D and Production in the China factories for training and technical problem solving

Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will assist with the cultivation of business relationships and application-centric deliverables for the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The analyst will help manage the responsibility of all current and future Oracle EBS related modules and interfaces required by the business to support all business requirements.

The Sr. BSA will be responsible for the design, configuration, modification, implementation, testing, and support of Oracle Applications modules. The role will work directly with internal business users to understand the business needs and make recommendations on how Oracle Applications can be leveraged to provide new capabilities/functionality and provide real-time support. In the course of this support, the BSA manages the process of problem response, triage and manages the team’s documentation of defects and communicates remediation. Oversees design and implementations of application extensions, reports, etc. including analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support for Procure-to-Pay, Distribution and Manufacturing modules, enhancement projects and lean initiatives related to Oracle EBS.
  • Facilitate business and systems analysis discussions and translate findings into clearly defined Business Requirements Document, Functional Design Document.
  • Work with the development team in reviewing the design, validating that the development delivers to the design.
  • Participate in Unit testing and User Acceptance Testing with the business users to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Research, design, configure, test, document and manage the implementation of system changes.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate for this position has experience as a key contributor to a major business unit independently developing and programming complex equipment used in high volume manufacturing. Candidates must have direct experience in the design and continuous improvement of software and controls including PLC, Robotics, and PC architectures and thorough working knowing of a wide range of electronic control components.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the specification and development of equipment controls based on robust architectures and SW coding methods.
  • Expert at integration and control of a wide range of hardware components such as robots, analog devices, motion controllers, sensors and vision systems.

Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary:

 

Seeking a highly motivated and creative Mechanical Engineer responsible for design and development of CIGS thin film solar cell manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implementation of PVD sputtering vacuum equipment. Work closely with mechanical, software, electrical and process engineering to develop new hardware to increase device efficiency, improve uniformity, and reduce yield loss.
  • FEM/FEA modeling in SolidWorks: stress, deflection, and thermal
  • Heat transfer analysis including conduction, convection and radiation
  • Advanced problem solving/root cause analysis.
  • Ability to lead projects and work in a cross functional team
  • Create and improve engineering documentation.
  • Develop procedures.

Software Developer

The Software Developer within the Process Development Group is tasked with providing custom software tools to support process development and manufacturing. These tools serve to accelerate, standardize and automate routine data retrieval and analysis tasks. The Software Developer also develops new data management and evaluation algorithms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and expand existing software applications and enhance their capabilities.
  • Enable automated analysis of materials, process and device data and create reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision making and automated process control.
  • Develop new algorithms for data analysis based on user requirements.
  • Support R&D on thin film solar cells and modules in all matters related to data management, retrieval, visualization and analysis. This position is part of the R&D team and it is meant to empower the other team members to do their jobs better and more quickly.
  • Support and mentor R&D, manufacturing engineering and other technical teams and provide expert technical advice for software use and data analysis.

Mechanical Design Engineering Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs and guides the activities of a mechanical systems and equipment design function.
  • Manages and analyzes the testing and feasibility studies of mechanical products, instruments, subassemblies, and packaging for new and existing products.

Sr. Technical Support Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Escalation support for our turnkey factories:

  • As escalation lead, support all technical issues escalated from our field service team / operation team in a timely manner
  • Lead and manage the escalation and drive the escalation process to closure with resources from cross-functional groups
  • Identify issues through detailed root cause analysis and develop long term solutions by improving process capabilities, hardware capabilities, procedures, spares, training and staffing
  • Work with technical specialties to document escalations, and generate post-mortem reports that ready at customer level
  • Support new product introductions to the field:
  • Provide support and technical feedback to the design team during development, prototype testing, and beta release
  • Plan and provide training to internal and external service personnel for new product introductions, CIP changes, upgrades, and BKMs

REQUIRED/PREFERED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:    

    • Troubleshooting, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills are critical to the role
    • Experience with high-volume automated system and/or vacuum sputtering system
    • Ability to speak Mandarin is required
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% (primary customer bases are in China)
    • Excellent team skills with the ability to form solid partnerships across functional groups

Manufacturing Equipment Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB:

This position is on the day shift: Monday through Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for sustaining engineering activities on high volume production equipment operating 24/7
  • Analyze the performance of the equipment (MTBF, uptime, MTTR, etc.) to determine what needs to be improved to increase the throughput and the yield
  • Performs engineering analysis in support of system improvements, including root cause analysis of complex problems
  • Analyze the performance of each shift to determine what shift needs improvement and what needs to be done to improve that shift
  • Analyze the performance of the maintenance technicians to determine what they are doing well and how we can proliferate it and what need to be improved to decrease their maintenance times and troubleshooting times
  • Help the maintenance technicians bring a tool back up to production when they have a problem they need to escalate to you when they cannot resolve it
  • Analyze the maintenance procedures so that you can rewrite them to improve their understanding, the ability of the techs to follow them and to optimize them for better tool performance
  • Define the facilities requirements for the systems in your area of responsibility
  • Write and maintain the maintenance procedures and specifications when the equipment vendors or the internal tool engineering team have not done so
  • Create the training materials and train the maintenance technicians to improve their performance
  • Create the spare parts lists and determine the correct stocking levels to maximize the service level and the inventory turns
  • Work with the safety department to ensure the tools and the maintenance techs in your area adhere to the safety protocols and have the necessary training, documentation, personal protective equipment and tooling
  • Determine the necessary tooling and measurement equipments to properly maintain the equipment in your area of responsibility
  • Establish equipment reliability standards, measurements and reports
  • Produce cost optimization of production sequence on assigned equipment
  • Drive continuous improvement programs to improve equipment and manufacturing performance
  • Ability and willingness to provide direct hands-on support as required, can be “off” hours
  • Excellent team skills with the ability to form solid partnerships across functional groups

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:    

  • 5+ years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer.
  • Strong “hands-on” capability in the installation and deployment into manufacturing of production equipment
  • Allen Bradley or PLC experience strongly desired
  • Successful demonstration in providing solid engineering solutions and solving challenging equipment problems in a high volume manufacturing environment
  • Strong team player in a cross functional environment
